Dancing during Lunch with KiwiCan

Thank you Mr Alapati from Kiwican for making our kids lunch time for FUN! Mr Alapati has taken his time during his lunch break to teach us dance. Our students are loving it and it definitely is showing through their cool dance moves. What a great atmosphere. Keep it up Glenbrae kids!!!!

Learning Through Play: Construction Time (Building Blocks)

   

Our students are learning about different colours and putting blocks into patterns. We built towers and talked about the size and height of our construction. The kids loved this activity and the students had great discussion on the things they built from the blocks.

This is Simione. He has brought his instrument to play for us in our very first music class of 2019. He is playing "Mary had a little lamb". WOW! Fabulous!! Excellent job Simione!

WATER FUN DAY

So much fun in the sun! Glenbrae School had "Water Fun Day". There were lots of fun water activities to get through and we all got soaking wet!! The winning house of 2019 was KOWHAI!!! Room 5 students had a blast on the waterslide. We were superstars coming down the long slide!

  Swimming Season

Time to cool off in the pool! We are learning about pool safety and learning how to float. Room 5 students will be swimming everyday for the next 5 weeks. What a way to start school!! 

     

                                                       

Room 5 Classroom Treaty

Welcome to Room 5! First day back at school and we have been talking a lot about our classroom treaty. This is our class treaty and expectations that we have all agreed on following for this year. Room 5 students are all ready to learn and follow the treaty!
