What is Emotions?

WOW what a year it has been!! Room 8 students have been learning about our emotions. 

This year has been a tough and challenging year for everyone. We've had to work together and have had to rise above all the changes that 2020 has thrown at us. 

One thing we had to learn to do was to, recognise our emotions and learn different ways to manage them.

Greedy Cat Show!

Last week, the year's 1 to 5 attended Greedy Cat Show at the Vodafone Events Centre. All the students enjoyed watching the performance!

We giggled, we smiled and we clapped.

The performers were so talented.

 

Can't wait to read more books on Greedy Cat!

Get Your Game On, GBS!!!

 Well done to all the students who participated in our Get Your Game On! What a BLAST!!!

Everyone had so much fun! Everyone looked so awesome in their house colours.

Woah!! 

What a great way to end the week. A visit from the Firefighters here at Glenbrae School!!! 

The firefighters were so awesome. They explained to us juniors what their job was, why their job is super important and if they weren't there, how does that affect us!

We got to ask them so many questions, we chatted with each firefighter and the students even got the chance to explore all their equipments!!

We were so lucky to have them here at GBS!

Thank you firefighters for saving lives and for putting out fires.

Here is our school nurses at Glenbrae School. Their names are Nurse Yun and Nurse Angela.

We are so lucky to have them at Glenbrae School. The nurses look after our health by making sure we are healthy. They give us medicine, check our throats, skin and even our ears!!!

They help us by making sure everything is good with our health. We are very lucky to have Nurse Yun and Angela.

 

Pink Shirt Day

 

Here at GBS we wore pink today for ANTI-BULLYING!

Anti-Bullying Day is a day when people wear mainly a pink shirt to symbolise a stand against bullying.

Sunflower Mosiac Art

Look at our art creation we have been working on for the past 2 weeks! Woah, isn't it stunning??? We worked hard, cutting and gluing the coloured paper onto our sunflower picture.
