Swimming Lessons




Swimming Season has been up and running this term. Room 5 students have been learning how to float on their backs and learning how to scull in the water.

Swimming is a good all-round activity because it: keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body. builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. helps maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs.


Keep up the great learning Room 5!!

  1. Well done Room 5. It is good to see that you are enjoying your swimming lessons and learning a lot of skills as well. All those students in the photos are able to float so well. Floating will keep you safe in the water when you are tired of swimming. Enjoy your swimming lessons Room 5.
